10-30-13

Yesterday was a pretty busy day.
We had library, Sidney turned 13 months, we made (in kylie's eyes) a fun supper, and we carved pumpkins.

Library:
Our librarian told us last week, that the kids could wear their costumes to library this week if they wanted. We were the sixth family there, and the first ones to show up in costumes (just Kylie). That poor girl felt a little out of place! But then the last 6 families that showed up all had their kids dressed up. That was better!
They listened to a couple of Halloween stories and then got to make a treat!
Sidney decided to walk eye first into the table...sigh

getting directions, note the other snow white...
I also saw two babies as snow white too.
I imagine it is pretty popular every year though.

Sidney is also 13 months. I have no real information....totally lacking this month.
She is pretty good at walking now, but still doesn't really look where she is going. She still only says "dada", but can sign "eat", "more" and "milk". - When she wants to. :) She loves to laugh, and more often then not, she loves being with her sister. :)

For supper last night we made mummy dogs. Kylie had fun wrapping them all up. And eating them. :)

Sidney got to celebrate turning 13 months by getting
to eat her first taste of hot dog. :) She approves, of course.

Kylie loved supper too.

After we cleaned up supper we got out all the pumpkins and starting cleaning them out and carving them up. Sidney thought they were slightly amusing, and focused very hard, the majority of the time, at just playing with the seeds. She did manage to smile once when I gave her a scoop to play with.

Kylie wanted to make the witch again this year..
next year she says she is going to carve hers, she was
pretty bummed she couldn't put a candle in her pumpkin
since there were no holes for the light to shine through. :)

(Kylie chose the pattern for both Sidney's and mine.)
