Swim Lessons

During the school year, each class from all three elementary schools takes 2 weeks from their schedule to have swim lessons each morning. Kylie's class had her 2 weeks a couple weeks ago. If your schedule allows you can come watch them and if you can help in the locker room.
Seeing as Sidney and I really don't do a whole lot with our days, we went everyday. And since Kylie's class is made up of 11 girls and only 5 boys.....they needed the locker room help! :)

Considering Kylie started lessons with being terrified of putting her face in the water, she finished with being able to blow nose bubbles under water and even floating on her own (face down & face up) for a few seconds. I will call it a success. She has a long way to go but she definitely has learned the basics. Hopefully we can get her into some lessons at the city pool this summer in Chadron.

Here are A LOT of pictures of swim lessons. Most of them fuzzy phone pictures.

Her face is in the water!

Kylie was still too scared to jump in the pool though.

They had to get in groups of three and learn to float together

Test Day

They referred to her a lot as having alligator eyes.....:)
She needs to work at putting her face in the water, not just half of it.

Sidney was getting bored. :)
