HopScotch

A couple of weekends ago, the girls and I had a fun filled Saturday.
We went to the local museum for the morning, played hopscotch and with chalk in the afternoon and had shaved ice for supper.
It was a pretty sweet day.

Here are a few pictures from then.

There was an art display at the museum with a piece of art from every student K thru 12th in Worland. This was part of Kylie's class.

Soccer - Game 6

This game may or may not have been Kylie's last. We aren't fully sure yet if she will be able to go to her game on the 30th since we found out that the movers will be here the 28th through the 30th. I am really hoping they don't take 3 full days and we can make it to her game.

But anyways, they totally got their butts kicked last night. :) It was like 7-2 or something. :)
We were missing a couple of our best boys and they had a couple very serious soccer players on their team. :)

Either way though, Kylie made a couple of really good plays. She stopped the ball and turned it around and got it down the field towards the goal. And then she passed it off to Alyssa who scored for us!

Kylie also made an awesome block when the teal team tried to kick the ball in. In all honestly, she wasn't really trying to, but the kid kicked it a little high and Kylie stopped it with her stomach. :)

It was a fun game overall and even better because Mike was home to see it! He got home Wednesday night and the girls have been attached to his hip ever since. :)

I love these kick shots of her! :)

Puddle Jumping

Another good storm came through this past Friday and we got a good chunk of rain with it.
That evening, even though it was still sprinkling, the girls asked to go out and jump in the puddles. And having no real good excuse as to why they couldn't, we got bundled up and went and splashed in the cold water.
Sidney had a hard time keeping her pants tucked in and was soaked half way up her thighs by the time we were done. Kylie got pretty wet too, because neither of them realized just how deep a couple of the puddles were.

And yes, they were playing in the street gutters, and yes I had them get out and on the sidewalk every time a vehicle came by. :)

Sidney would look anywhere besides at the camera. :)

I love the progression of the next three photos. :)

getting courage to jump in.
