Soccer Game 4

Kylie had her 4th game last night. It was the make up game for the rained out game and it went really well. They won 3-2 and Kylie had an "assist" of sorts. She got the ball right infront of the goal and the other team, while trying to get it away from the goal, knocked it in; giving the green team a goal. :)
They all played really well tonight!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was nice and low key. The girls spoiled me in the morning with all the cards and gifts they made, at church I was given a basket full of bright flowers since I had the youngest child, and then we just spent the rest of the day hanging out. The girls had been planning for the last day or two an elaborate little party that they put on after supper. It was quite amusing. :)

Soccer Game 3

Game three was this past Monday night and went well. Green team won 5-3!
The kids were getting pretty tired towards the end, but they pulled through and toughed it out until the end.

Shaved Ice

After Kylie's second game on Saturday, we went to hit up the local shaved ice place since it was opening weekend.
It was a looooong line! And I got a serious sunburn waiting for that delicious drink. But I think it was worth it. :) It was delicious.
Kylie was greatly relieved because the place typically doesn't open until memorial day weekend and she thought we would miss out on it since we are moving. Glad they opened early!

Soccer Game 2

Here was her second game. I think they lost this game too. :)

It was a really hot sunny Saturday game. All the kids were tired and hot and didn't really wanna run around much. :)

This was technically game 2, since the first was cancelled, but it was the first game they played. :)

Pretty low key game. They either lost or tied. I lost track after a little bit. But I think they lost...

Soccer Practice

Soccer started a few weeks ago and Kylie's coach scheduled a few practices before the games started. The games they play are only 30 min. and her coach had them practice for 45 min each time. A couple of the kids even told the coach that practice was too long. :) But it was good for them!

Her games have started and they have had 3 so far since one was canceled due to weather.
She has 3 or 4 left before we move. She will miss the last two games since the season started later than it normally would.
She's been doing good this season. Much better than last year, just needs to not be so scared to get in there and get the ball from the other kids. :)
