Kylie won a pair of LuLuRoe leggings. :)
The second week of my job my babysitter quit, so I had to spend an hour one morning finding someone to watch the girls. They went to a family friends house and were being watched by Kylie's friend's grandma. Kylie puts a giant splinter in her foot while out at their house.
Had to take Kylie in to the clinic to have them cut it out. Kylie did not handle it well while it was getting cut out. But was fine once it was all over.
Mike took us out to the airport one day to see the SEAT (single engine air tanker) that is based out of our airport. It was pretty neat.

Kylie had her back to school eye exam...... I was a little caught off surprise when I was told she should go pick out a pair of glasses!!
Turns out, her head is kinda little from face to back of head width....so most of the pairs had the side pieces sticking waaaay far out past her ears. She didn't have a whole lot of options to choose from. On the plus side, she will probably grow out of these in year and will need to pick out a different pair next year probably...

When we went to check out the county fair one night, I discovered that the teachers save some of the kids art work during the school year & put it in the fair. Kylie got 2nd place on one of her drawings. :)

Back yard campfire one night
Spent one day in August out on the grasslands. Took some time to let the girls do some rock hounding. It was pretty fun and we found a couple of pretty neat rocks. Plus all the ones the girls thought were just so pretty. :)
